Our Rocky Mountain Stallion - "Yankee Ingenuity", pictured above, has the old Rocky bloodlines: Yankee and Cheeks Rocky, and is a grandson of "Tobe", the Rocky Mountain Horses foundation stallion. He is a triple registered stallion, Rocky Mountain, Kentucky Saddle and Mountain Pleasure. We believe in keeping him active to maintain that gentle "Rocky Disposition" so he participates in trail rides, local horse shows and drill teams. He is 15.1 hands, 9 years old and at River Ridge, he has sired 11 foals to date with four more due this spring. The foal colors mostly follow the dam, but the intelligence, build, ease of training, easy going disposition and striking headset follow our "Yankee".

We are located in East Central Iowa, outside of Lisbon which is near Cedar Rapids and Iowa City.
